During the evening, Honorary Member Bro. Kevin King drew our 'Good Causes' raffle, and this month's winner was our IPM Bro. Stuart Donald.

Congratulations, Stuart and thanks to our RWM for donating the July bottle. And thanks to the Newliston Arms for an excellent meal and equally excellent service.

And, on a historical note, the Newliston Arms played a part in the formation of the Lodge. On the 26th February 1868, at a meeting there, twelve Brethren, and with an advance of £10 from George Simpson, an application was sent to Grand Lodge for a Lodge Charter.

I think the menu that night would not have been so varied as the one we enjoyed!!
